PLPS Help Dan Stenchever Establish a Profitable Relationship With Six Flags
Dan Stenchever, Owner of Proforma Garden State Graphics in Wanaque, NJ, secured a new client when he was the only one able to meet their tight deadline. By coming through for the Account Manager of Corporate Alliances for Six Flags, Great Adventure Amusement Park on a rush order the week before Memorial Day Weekend, he established a new RelationShip that continues to pay off.
The client needed 50,000 coasters to be delivered the following Friday for their Fan Duel promotion. Six Flags’ usual marketing provider was busy getting ready for the holiday weekend and was unable to work on this project until it was too late. When the Account Manager reached out to Dan, he began immediately contacting possible Vendors and found PLP Tranter Graphics could deliver on the clients’ immediate request.
PLP Tranter Graphics worked with Dan to produce 5,000 3.5” round paper coasters in one-color. The art was due Tuesday, went to print on Thursday and shipped overnight to be in the client’s hands by Friday. The remaining portion of the order shipped just one week later.
While this initial job was in progress, Dan received another request from the Account Manager for 10,000 4”x 6” full color postcards needed in three days for the Barnes and Noble promotional offer “Free Reads in the Park.” Dan found another PLP, Zoo Printing, who was able to complete the job in one day and ship it out the next.
Dan met his client’s deadline and budget and he exceeded their expectations resulting in a more than $7,000 sale. He is now working on buck slips and outdoor graphics for Six Flags and expects more great sales to come from this new Relationship
